Hoka Cielo X 2 LD Running Spikes
The HOKA Cielo X 2 LD spike is made for longer distances on the track (3 km – 10 km). This neutral running shoe offers more cushioning than a HOKA spike has ever had, without sacrificing speed.
When ripping around the track at dizzying speeds, a fast spike is a prerequisite for performance. Engineered with a propulsive carbon fibre plate and designed in accordance with World Athletics’ guidelines, the Cielo X 2 LD is equipped for longer range distances (3K-10K). Combined with HOKA’s lightest performance foam, this responsive race flat delivers a snappy ride in 107 g. The engineered mesh upper provides excellent levels of ventilation and fast-drying performance. An engineered mesh tongue cushions the foot from lace pressure whilst remaining breathable, and a removable non-moulded EVA sockliner delivers a plush feel underfoot. The Compression Moulded EVA Foam midsole delivers shock attenuation and superior cushioning comfort, all whilst working with the body’s natural form – encouraging an efficient, smooth roll from initial impact to toe-off. The built-in carbon fibre plate provides greater support and stability, whilst the early-stage meta-rocker promotes smoother transitions. The spikes are finished with a Pebax spike plate with 4 spikes that grip the ground for increased power.
